Born in Varna Bulgaria, she finished the High School of her hometown and continued her studies in Sofia at the State Academy of Music.
She is Professor at the State Academy of Music and guest Professor in other Universities.
She has given concerts as piano soloist and chamber music performer in Bulgaria, Germany, England, Italy, Cyprus, Belgium, France, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland, Czehia, Slovakia, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba.
She has made a number of recordings for solo piano, Tschaikowski, Brahms, Chopin, Cambini, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Haydn, Ravel, Hindemith, Martinu and chamber music, Bach, Telemann, Haendel, Mozart, Beethoven, Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Bartok, V. Kazandjiev, L. Nikolov, L. Pipkov, V. Stoyanov, Debussy, Poulenc.
Sofia National Radio, Radio Havana, Radio Budapest, Radio Warsow, Balkanton-Sofia, Nimbus Record-U.K., Radio Prague, CBC-Cyprus made her recordings.
From 1993 she is President of Nicola Stefanov Annual Flute Competition in Sofia. She is member of the jury in Competition “Musical Talents” in Sofia, in Annual Competition “Emanuil Manolov” in Gabrovo, in First International Competition “Young Virtuosos” in Sofia, sitting member of the jury at “Evangelia Tjiarri” Annual International Piano Competition in Larnaka, Cyprus.
